Job Description for Business Consultant & Presales (Delivery/Project Management)

 

Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Consultant with expertise in the insurance domain to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic business consulting services to clients in the insurance industry, coupled with active participation in pre-sales activities. Your role will involve understanding client needs, tailoring solutions, and collaborating with sales and technical teams to ensure successful positioning and implementation of Simplifai products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Industry Expertise:

o Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the insurance sector.

o Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' insurance operations to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

 

· Pre-Sales Collaboration:

o Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, objectives, and pain points.

o Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the value of our solutions.

 

· Solution Design:

o Develop comprehensive solution designs based on client requirements and industry best practices in the insurance domain.

o Work closely with the technical team to ensure that proposed solutions align with the client's objectives and are technically feasible.

o Provide input and recommendations for product enhancements based on client feedback and market trends.

 

· Proposal Development:

o Participate in the preparation of RFPs and RFIs, ensuring accurate and comprehensive responses that highlight the unique advantages of our offerings.

 

· Client Relationship Management:

o Cultivate strong relationships with clients by serving as a trusted advisor throughout the presales and post-sales processes.

o Address client inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

o Collaborate with account managers to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

 

· Market Research:

o Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

o Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential areas for business growth.

o Use market insights to contribute to the development of new products or enhancements to existing ones.

 

· Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, requirements, and proposed solutions.

o Generate reports on pre-sales activities, including key performance indicators and outcomes.

Requirements:

 

· Education:

o Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.

o Master's degree is a plus.

 

· Experience :

o Proven 7+ years of experience in a business consulting or related role with a focus on the insurance domain.

o Demonstrated experience in pre-sales activities within the insurance industry.

 

· Industry Knowledge:

o In-depth understanding of insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry regulations.

o Related certifications are a plus.

 

· Communication Skills:

o Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex insurance solutions to diverse audiences.

 

· Technical Proficiency:

o Familiarity with insurance-related technologies and data analytics tools.

o Understanding of AI is a plus.

 

· Collaboration:

o Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales and technical teams.

 

· Adaptability:

o Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving insurance landscape.

o Ability to thrive in a high-paced work environment.

 

· Results-Oriented:
