Roles & Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

To create and develop the HR processes so that they are able to contribute in an enhanced way to the HR Developmental Agenda This also improves and enhances one's own capabilities in the Institutional building approach besides developing the HR plans and policies in conjunction with overall developmental plan.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Upwards – CHRO

Downwards – Asst Manager/HR Executive

Principal Accountabilities

  • Overall responsibility for manpower planning and recruitment.
  • To develop recruiting strategies to ensure job openings are filled in a timely and costeffective manner.
  • Define recruiting processes and drive standardization of processes across the company
  • Developing onboarding and customized induction programs for new hires
  • Establishing an organizational structure with the right skills, the right balance, the right costs, the right leadership, and the right span of controls and modifying as per market demand.
  • Develop a Succession Planning framework and drive the same.
  • Make small wins and important days a celebration occasion.
  • Develop creative engagements that spark happiness amongst in-house talents.
  • Developing HR processes and policies in conjunction with the company's overall development plan.
  • Working out the compensation plan and policies.
  • Developing and implementing governance policies.
  • Developing and implementing employee well-being and engagement policies.
  • Developing and implementing the performance review system for the whole company and driving the success measures with line management.
  • Ensure timely completion of KPI/Goal setting, self-review, superior review, and Management Review.

Identifying the capability needs, and developing training programs to ensure constant learning and development of talents.

  • Talent mapping and devising career paths for talent growth.

Build, lead, coach, and provide timely feedback to direct reports and the organization to build the talent of the future.

  • Maintaining good internal communication within and outside the company.

Drive the Vision, Mission, and Values of the company.

  • Develop open and transparent communication platforms that generate creative ideas and solutions.

Factories HR –, Monitoring labor supplies-availability, deployment & discipline, overseeing plant welfare facilities etc.

  • Contract Management and compliance in all respects.
  • Employment contract initiation/renewal for all existing and new recruits.
  • Custodian of Member personal files and Exit Management System.
  • Medical/Life Insurance management - getting the best service with a high level of quality for all members with minimal cash outflow.
  • Developing the exit process for the employees.
  • Dealing with the final settlement of exiting employees with good record exit as ambassadors.
  • Developing various reports for management which make it easy to make decisions regarding the current resources.

Recruitment agencies, Public relations

Skills And Knowledge

Educational Qualifications

MBA/MSW with specialization in HR from an institute of repute

Professional certification

8 to 12 years of experience in a manufacturing industry of which the last 5 years should be in a managerial role.

Should have exposure to working labor-intensive industry segments with a dynamic workforce.

Comprehensive industry and competitor knowledge,

Strong leader with excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Should be well versed in Malayalam and knowledge of Tamil and Hindi will be an added advantage.
