Job description
Responsibilities:
Design and execute cuttingedge electrical systems for energy projects ensuring optimal efficiency safety and compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and technical assessments for energy related initiatives offering valuable insights on design considerations budgeting and
project implementation strategies.
Collaborate seamlessly with crossfunctional teams including project managers fellow engineers and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of energy projects.
Evaluate select and oversee the integration of materials equipment and suppliers for electrical systems ensuring the highest quality standards in energy project implementation.
Develop and meticulously maintain technical documentation including detailed schematics technical drawings and comprehensive project reports.
Provide handson technical support throughout the installation commissioning and maintenance phases of energy projects ensuring optimal system performance and longevity.
Stay at the forefront of advancements in electrical engineering and energy technologies proactively incorporating innovative solutions into project designs.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
Years of handson experience in electrical engineering demonstrating a specialized focus on energy projects.
Proficiency in industrystandard electrical design software and simulation tools.
Indepth familiarity with relevant codes and standards governing the energy sector.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills coupled with a keen attention to detail.
Skills:
Indepth knowledge of electrical engineering principles and best practices applied with precision to energy projects.
Proficiency in using cuttingedge design and simulation software (e.g. AutoCAD ETAP PSpice) to create and analyze electrical systems.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills to navigate complex electrical engineering challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration skills fostering effective teamwork and streamlined project management.
Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in the dynamic and demanding environment of energy projects.
Preferred:
Masters degree in electrical engineering or a related field demonstrating a commitment to advanced expertise.
Professional Engineer (PE) license validating a high level of competency an adherence to industry standards.
Proven experience with renewable energy systems and sustainable power generation projects.
Familiarity with the latest energy storage technologies contributing to forward thinking project designs.
Active participation in relevant industry conferences workshops and ongoing professional development showcasing a commitment to staying current with industry trends.
