About the Job
This role involves developing initial bill of materials, preparing various technical diagrams and layouts for telecommunications infrastructure, conducting clash/interface checks, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and quality standards. Additionally, responsibilities include providing estimates, supporting construction and commissioning, preparing as-built drawings, and maintaining documentation integrity as per company guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Participate in review the Technical Document Register (TDR), evaluate scope of work, number of required drawings and establish design and drafting requirements. Study Telecom Data Sheets, Telecom Index, Telecom Design Basis and other relevant documents to prepare Telecommunication drawings.
- Prepare layouts including 2D and 3D models with adequate dimensions necessary to assist the Engineering disciplines and Fabrication/Construction personnel including update /revision of Terminations Diagrams, Installation & Support Drawings, Telecom location Plans, Control Panel Drawings, Control/Equipment Room Lay-outs, Cable Tray/Trench Lay-outs.
- Perform layout clash/interface checks, identify conflicts, and take corrective action in coordination with other engineering discipline inputs.
What We're Looking For
- 2 to 10 years of related experience in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas industries with EPC/Detail engineering companies
- Proficiency in software: Microstation/AutoCAD 2000 and E3D and S3D software
- In-depth knowledge of standard international specifications and codes:IEC, ISA, ISO codes
- Knowledge in detailed Engineering projects
- Good understanding of international materials costs
- Thorough knowledge of Safety and Quality Procedures
- Proficiency with MS Office and database software like Access, INtools
- Ability to Follow Directives and Lead Instructions
- Exposure to EPC Environments
