Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager specialized in Loan Against Property (LAP) to lead and propel sales operations within the designated area. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in sales leadership, particularly within the financial sector with a focus on LAP products. The Area Sales Manager will be tasked with crafting and executing strategic sales plans, managing a team of sales professionals, and achieving set business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning

- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to accomplish LAP business objectives.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to pinpoint opportunities for growth.

- Collaborate with senior management to establish sales targets and objectives for the area.

Team Management

- Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing sales team.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to the sales team to meet individual and team targets.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations, establish goals, and implement performance enhancement plans as necessary.

Business Development

- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, channel partners, and other stakeholders.

- Drive business development initiatives to expand market share and boost the LAP portfolio.

- Work closely with marketing teams to execute effective promotional activities.

Customer Relationship Management

- Ensure exceptional levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and relationship building.

- Address customer complaints and issues promptly to uphold positive customer relationships.

Sales Monitoring and Reporting

- Implement robust sales tracking and reporting systems to monitor performance against targets.

- Generate regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market trends for management review.

- Analyze sales data to pinpoint areas for improvement and devise action plans accordingly.

Compliance and Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.

- Implement risk management practices to minimize potential losses and maintain a secure lending environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is advantageous.

- Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, preferably within the financial services sector with a focus on LAP.

- Profound understanding of the Loan Against Property market and industry trends.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

- Proficiency in data analysis, identifying opportunities, and implementing effective sales strategies.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management practices in the financial industry.
