Job description
Hands-on management of project within the scope of Finance Integrations to support the improvement of Finance processes, data, and tooling to reduce the operational cost of Finance over the short/ medium term.
To engage with stakeholders and actors throughout each project to secure completion of tasks, action items and goals in support of the project objectives.
Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:
1 Finance Integrations project delivery
2 Drive actions designed to achieve the project objectives.
3 To monitor and provide update on relevant metrics.
4 To engage [BY1] and secure project resources (including local team resource allocation) necessary for completion of each project.
5 To employ project management tools to operate the project methodology in search of successful completion of the objectives.
6 To drive improvement in Finance processes [BY2] and tools through identification of opportunity and risk, highlighting such proposals for evaluation by the Finance Improvements team.
7 To investigate and deep dive as necessary to identify root causes for issues and propose both short term and long-term fixes through addressing employee behaviors, process performance and control standards.
8 Plan, organize and anticipate for aligning the workload / available bandwidth accordingly to (i) priorities which can evolve over time against (ii) budgets constraints.
9 Follow up, measure, and communicate the progress, in front of the agreed timelines.
