Job description
Responsibilities for Lead-Policy and Risk: Policy formulation in conjunction with portfolio performance, laid down internal risk guidelines and/or macro-economic factors. Recruit, train and lead a team of Portfolio Monitoring Analyst, Policy Analyst and Industry Analyst and ensure low attrition levels. Assess early warning signals using data analysis and segmentations and take pro-active policy actions as and when required. Set risk appetite and tolerance levels for the product. Perform NPA/Bad Case analysis and Opportunity loss analysis. Responsible for day-to-day portfolio analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Convene and conduct the risk Management committee meetings to review organisation-wide, portfolio and product level risks. Ongoing liaising with Tech, Ops, Credit and MIS teams to ensure all policies, processes, data flow are working efficiently, and all required changes are built and implemented as per plan. Co-ordinate with Analytics team to devise credit scorecards, application scoring models and behavioural/EWS models. Support any adhoc deep dive data analysis on portfolio matrices. Ensure compliance of policies and processes with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to RBI Policy. Managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Provide analytical solutions through statistical modelling, credit policy and strategy, reporting and data analysis. Work closely with Product, Sales and Risk teams to support business growth and drive new initiatives.
Qualifications for Lead Risk Master's degree in business administration (MBA), B.Tech, BE, Chartered Accountant (ICAI), FRM, CMA, CFA, CPA, MMS or degree in Business Analytics. 8+ years of experience as Policy/Risk Manager or Risk Modelling in banks, NBFCs or Credit rating companies. Functional experience with analytics packages preferred, but not mandatory. Detail-oriented and a strict attention and appreciation for deadlines.Job tags
