We are seeking a seasoned Head of Human Resources to lead our dynamic team in Mumbai. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's culture, driving organizational development, and overseeing all aspects of HR functions. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives, ensuring a strong focus on talent acquisition, retention, and development. - Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance and mentorship while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. - Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, including but not limited to compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. - Collaborate with department heads to identify current and future staffing needs, and develop effective recruitment and onboarding strategies. - Drive the implementation of robust HR policies, procedures, and systems to create a positive and productive work environment. - Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing insights and recommendations on organizational design, talent management, and succession planning. - Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the company, fostering a culture of belonging and respect. - Proactively address employee concerns and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent resolution in line with company policies. - Stay abreast of industry best practices and evolving HR trends, leveraging this knowledge to enhance our HR initiatives and practices. - Drive employee engagement and retention strategies, fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with the company's values and mission. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Proven track record of more than 15 years in HR leadership roles, with a focus on Retail industry experience. - Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, startup environment, showcasing the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive organizational change. - Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance at all levels. - Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce. - Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into effective HR strategies and actions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on building relationships and fostering collaboration across the organization.
