Senior System Engineer
Experience : 3-5 Years
Pay Band : 4.5 - 6.5 LPA
Department: 24x7 Remote System Support
Work Mode : Hybrid
Working Hours : 9 Hours Shift
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Senior System Engineer to run and manage our 24x7 Support operation. The Senior System Engineer will be responsible for :
-Â Â Responds to client inquiries and provides technical support to users.
-Â Â Troubleshoots hardware and software issues.
-Â Â Assists with installation of computer software and operating system updates.
-Â Â Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
-Â Â Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and desktop management tools.
-Â Â Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
-Â Â End user support on all corporate platforms including mobile devices
-Â Â Support for all MAC/Windows services and applications for desktop
-Â Â 24x7 Desktop Support Operations: Oversee 24x7 desktop support operations, ensuring seamless delivery of technical assistance to end-users.
-Â Â Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of our associates, ensuring they are equipped to meet the evolving demands of our organisation.
-Â Â Educate, train and prepare a team with skilled knowledge on Strong expertise on JAMF, Jump cloud and other Mac management tools.
-Â Â Participating in the development and maintenance of Active Directory group membership, computer hardware standards, and peripheral standards
-Â Â Implementing and maintaining workstation security to include workstation encryption, workstation firewalls, and workstation patch management.
-Â Â Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, telecom, and network - Windows OS, Desktop, Email (Lotus, Exchange), Active Directory.
-Â Â Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
-Â Â Troubleshooting complex system issues and implementing effective solutions.
