As an FB hostess, you will be responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, managing reservations, and coordinating the seating arrangements in the restaurant

Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and Seating Guests:
Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
Escort guests to their assigned tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
Reservation Management:
Receive and manage reservation requests, either over the phone or in person.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of reservations and allocate tables efficiently.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with guests to understand their preferences and special requests.
Liaise with the kitchen and waitstaff to coordinate seating and ensure smooth service.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests inquiries and concerns.
Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the dining experience.
Maintaining the Waiting Area:
Keep the waiting area clean and organized.
Manage guest flow to minimize wait times.
Menu Knowledge:
Have a good understanding of the menu to assist guests with their selections.
Provide information about daily specials and promotions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the kitchen and serving staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient operation.
Relay important information to the appropriate team members.
Upselling:
Suggest additional items, such as appetizers or desserts, to enhance the guest experience.
Promote special offers and promotions.
Cash Handling:
Handle cash transactions for walk-in guests and process payments accurately.
Ensure the security of cash and follow established cash-handling procedures.
Adherence to Policies:
Follow restaurant policies and procedures.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
