JOB SCOPE

Role : Cybersecurity Analyst

Johnson Electric is hiring a Senior Security Analyst for our cyber security team. The successful candidate will be based in Chennai, Indian.

Responsibilities

• In charge of vulnerability and patch management of the organization globally and meet the KPI
• Supervise and co-manage the outsourced SOC level 1 2 teams to meet the defined SOC KPI
• Design security playbooks and threat hunting models with the outsourced SOC vendor
• Perform regular vulnerability and penetration scans to meet compliance requirement
• Provide regular training to junior security analysts
• Provide support to compliance team in collecting log and evidence to support the conformance of the compliance controls
• Ability to handle new ad-hoc security project as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in computer science or information security related disciplines with over 5 years of relevant working experience
• Solid experience in security operation and co-managing an outsource SOC vendor.
• Experience in programming such as Python, SQL, and Linux shell script
• Certificates in either CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, or GIAC preferred
• Technical knowledges and experience of Cyber Security tools (e.g., M365, Zscaler, Forescout, Sophos, Proofpoint, Cortex, Palo-Alto, and any one of open-source SIEM)
• Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Mature, self-motivated, analytical and a good problem solver. Able to work under pressure and lead a team (internal and external) to drive the result
• Ability to work with global security leads in European, Americas and Canada regions in their morning time zone on a weekly basis
