Job description
The individual should be well versed in planning and execution of piping jobs of repair/refit/conversion of ships. He should be able to execute piping jobs as per scope of work. He should ensure compliance of safety and quality norms of Ship yard. He should be able to manage subcontractor's manpower and ensure adherence to job schedule. He should ensure the smooth work flow and co-ordinate with other departments. He should have sound knowledge on ship's system and equipment and have good competency in pipe fabrication, erection and commissioning. He should be proficient in reading and preparation of drawings and BOM and have sound domain knowledge on Piping & Marine related systems. He should have working experience on Refit ships on Piping/Engineering systems. He should have working knowledge on MS office and ERP. Work experience on-board Naval ship's is preferred.
