Job Description Creative Graphic Designer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our needs and design solutions with high visual impact. Will be working on a variety of projects including websites, pitch/client presentations, emailers, eBooks, newsletters, internal communication assets (like posters, lift branding, etc.), exhibitions branding elements, and corporate identity. Location: Bengaluru Your Responsibilities Translates stakeholder’s brief into a visually impactful graphic design. Produce a wide variety of creatives that range from print and production to digital, web, and multimedia, to required specifications, with high fidelity. Prepares rough drafts, presents ideas, and amends final designs to gain full approval. Cultivate a solid body of work. Should possess creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality. Should be up to date with industry-leading software and technologies (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, PowerPoint, Word, etc) Build compelling presentations using PowerPoint slides with the ability to create consistent design systems for presentation continuity. Highly proficient in all design aspects Ability to export various formats of supplied artwork into a production-ready delivery package and resolve any artwork issues that arise during the process. Collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and developers. Professionalism regarding time and deadlines Continuously self-educate on the competitive landscape and current design trends to help in maintaining relevance in advertising and design. Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually. Have a deep understanding of Sonata Software’s business strategies and goals. Work closely with other Sonata Marketing team members to establish priority, fidelity, and timely delivery of tasks. Internal cross-working relations (other departments): Marketing Business Development Competency Geo sales External cross-working relations: Vendors Advertising agencies Social media agencies Job requirements: A graduation/post-graduation preferred in Design or a related stream. 6 – 8 years of work experience as a graphic designer A strong portfolio of design, showcasing an excellent sense of concept development, typography, layout, web, and digital design principles (Portfolio submission with resume required to apply). Proven experience creating and maintaining production-ready design files with a focus on layout design, typesetting, photography selection and editing, print production, and quality assurance control. High proficiency with industry-standard design tools and software (Adobe Creative Suite). Proficiency with business software (MS Office). Experience building PowerPoint presentations, and slide layout design, including typography, diagram, and iconography creation, as well as slide animation. A professional knowledge of web and social media standards and limitations. A pulse on what is relevant in culture, design, and technology and can investigate, innovate, and develop the design, print, and digital trends. A self-starter attitude with excitement to work in a fast-paced, low-ego environment. Actively seek feedback and review of work; accept and act upon creative/technical direction. Take direction well and be nimble to extend designs across platforms. Sharp attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and team. Ability to collaborate with others–stakeholders, technical teams, partners, and other designers. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and time management.
