We are currently seeking an Archer Business Development Manager to join our passionate and high performing team. This is a chance to make your mark, build on an established brand, grow with a team that has been doing this for many years.

You'll be responsible for growing the Archer business within your territory by working with our partners to identify, qualify, pursue and win new business opportunities and to set those accounts in a direction for future growth.

You must be able to demonstrate strong Enterprise solution sales experience and have a proven track record of closing net new business opportunities.

Prior experience in risk, compliance, ESG or cyber, as well as experience selling SaaS solutions, and selling into Financial Services and IT/IS are all highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to grow within a defined market. Key to success in this role will be the ability to grow a business by building new relationships, building trust, helping customer's evaluate and select Archer's GRC, IRM and ESG technology offerings, ultimately to drive growth within the defined territory.

The Business Development Manager must develop and execute a targeted sales plan to identify new opportunities for Archer's offerings within a territory through target identification, prospecting, organizing resources, leading meetings and demonstrations with prospects, closing deals and facilitating contract negotiations with RSA procurement personnel.

The individual must be capable of leverage all channels available to them – marketing, sales development representatives, partnerships, alliances, pre-sales, their own network, and their own hard work.

The Individual Must Be Capable Of Understanding a Customer's Business Drivers, Business Issues And Objectives So They Can Translate And Articulate Archer's Value Propositions At All Levels, And Across Multiple Domains Including

  • IT & Security Risk
  • Third Party Risk
  • Operational & Business Resilience

Knowledge of the local market., local relationships, along with creativity, hunger, urgency and intensity are must have qualities.

Responsibilities

  • Build, nurture and maintain new customer relationships.
  • Explore new contacts and new initiatives through a deep understanding of market drivers, market challenges and market needs – and map those to the capabilities of Archer.
  • Develop adequate pipeline at ratios appropriate to the territory
  • Achieve both quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives.
  • Work with, and drive both in-country, in-region and global resources as your virtual team – engaging effectively with professional services, System Integrator community, value added resellers, product management, technical consultants & Archer resources as and when required to deliver to needs
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within an assigned territory
  • Execute a discovery-based, value-oriented sales approach
  • Build value-added relationships within the domain of your territory – become the trusted advisor.
  • Lead sales campaigns from a business perspective including ensuring a full understanding of the customers' challenges, desired outcomes, and minimum requirements while establishing the value of Archer.
  • Develop business cases and proposals that align to identified issues, problems and required outcomes.
  • Take the lead from start to finish of an opportunity – mobilising the resources of the company to achieve a timely closure.
  • Establish and build on relationships with the principal advisory partners, SI's and channel partners who can affect current/future business within accounts.
  • Remain an invested stakeholder for deployments within your territory, until such time as an agreed transition takes place.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Goal-orientated with an innovative approach to solving problems
  • Proven enterprise sales experience
  • Experience with discovery-based, value-oriented sales framework
  • Experience in the fields of Enterprise & Operational Risk, IT Security, Cyber, Business Resiliency, Regulatory Compliance, ESG, Audit and related GRC areas would be highly valued.
  • Passion for IRM, GRC and ESG topics
  • Experience working in a channel-oriented sales model
  • Experience selling SaaS and on-premise solutions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with high level business executives
  • Ability to assist organizations to develop a business case
  • Ability to analyse information and draw accurate conclusions
  • Ability to think on your feet and pivot conversations based on changing requirements
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of both local, regional and global teams
  • Ability to effectively persuade stakeholders across a range of roles – from executives, to front line managers, to administrators and officers - to realize the benefit and value of your proposals
