Job description
We are looking for a senior professional in the Indirect taxation team who can handle a larger team
Profile: AGM Indirect taxation
Location: Bhubaneswar
Compensation: 32 LPA ( Includes 20% avriables)
Experience:
- 10+ years experience in Finance & Accounts with a minimum of 10 years in Indirect Taxation including team management with a large organization
- Strong understanding of leading practices and SAP experience in taxation processes
- Experience in Shared Services/ Manufacturing would be an added advantage
Qualification:
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Review details prepared by team members related to:
§ GST returns
§ Strong Governance for ITC taken
§ Ensure availing of ITC promptly
§ Review workings for statutory payments
§ Make statutory payments as per schedule and file returns
§ Provide support for tax audits/assessments
- Ensure proper compliance with the operational processes, procedures, checklists, and SoA as specified in the area of operations.
- Ensure resolution of various issues and queries by raising the same to local units, departments, and external parties.
- Able to form a Centre of Excellence for GST & and design the new changes in IDT as per the needs of the industry
- Should have in-depth knowledge of setting up a new process in ERP (especially in SAP)
- Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and systems, and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and service levels of the team.
- Able to bring new efficiencies in working capital and other ITC areas
- Should know tax structures for M&A
- Monitor team performance, SLAs, and KPIs are achieved in the area of operation
