Job Description for SuccessFactors Developer Overview A SuccessFactors Developer is a technical expert who designs, develops, and maintains cloud-based solutions using SAP SuccessFactors, a human capital management (HCM) platform. A SuccessFactors Developer works closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to understand the business requirements and translate them into effective and user-friendly applications.
Responsibilities - Develop and configure SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, and Onboarding.
- Integrate SuccessFactors with other SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, web services, and middleware tools.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing of the developed solutions and ensure quality standards are met.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues and provide technical support and maintenance.
- Document the technical specifications, design, and configuration of the solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest features and functionalities of SuccessFactors and recommend best practices and enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills - Bachelor-s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in developing and configuring SuccessFactors modules.
- Proficient in SuccessFactors tools and technologies such as Metadata Framework, Business Rules, UI Designer, Report Designer, Integration Center, and Extension Center.
- Strong knowledge of web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and SAPUI5.
- Experience in integrating SuccessFactors with other systems using SOAP, REST, OData, and SFTP protocols.
- Good understanding of HCM processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in SuccessFactors is a plus.
