Job description
- The content writer will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for various communication channels.
The key responsibilities include:
- Writing donor reports to showcase the impact of our programs
- Creating content for press releases to generate media coverage
- Developing content for quarterly newsletters targeted at our donors
- Creating engaging social media posts and capturing relevant pictures
- Managing social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin
- Coordinating special fundraising events
- Planning and delivering presentations to donors and prospective donors
- Conducting research on corporations and foundations with CSR budget
- Developing and updating marketing materials
- Assisting with other fundraising and marketing administrative tasks
- Organizing and coordinating corporate volunteering events
- Performing any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Candidate Qualifications
- Masters degree in English Literature
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Subject matter expertise in the relevant field
- Preferably a candidate who is born and brought up in Bangalore
- Experience of 7 to 10 years in content writing or related roles
