Key Objective:

As part of Utility Scale BD Team, the role will entail creating, owning, and converting firm RE pipeline for the organization. The job profile would include working with external as well as internal stakeholders, generating market interests for specific clean energy profiles, engagement with state and central government agencies, interacting with the Solar and Wind teams for securing project pipeline. The role would require a dynamic individual, who can shift gears on demand, having excellent analytical skills and be open to work on various strategic initiatives within ReNew.

Brief description of role Utility Financial Analyst (Financial Modelling & Solutioning - Wind, Solar, Hybrid, Peak power, RTC, load following others) Develop and Maintain Financial models –

to support management decision making on investments and research. Evaluation of Pipeline Projects –

commercial case, scenario buildings and shortlisting of Projects for each bid Tender construct –

Based on tender documents and the relevant guidelines, policy and regulations structure the Bid solution Investment/Biding Approval a. Cross functional collaboration to develop complete business case, verifying/validating assumption b. Securing all required IC approvals for new investments and bidding c. Prepare Detailed Investment documents and investment approval requests to aid decision making. d. Prepare Opportunity/Portfolio level PPTs to support investment decision. 5.Ensuring participation in shortlisted bids, and coordinate all cross functional activities with finance, legal, CS and other teams as and when required 6. Contribute to development of new business segments like Hybrids, Storage, floating solar, basis a sound cross functional techno commercial analysis 7.

Regulatory-

Hands on regulatory aspects related to business development, project implementation, bidding guidelines, PPAs and representation for the same with external stakeholders; 8.

Policy advocacy

keeping in view the company’s interest to govt entities 9. Market Benchmarking on all key commercial assumptions of Project.

Profile & Eligible Criteria He/ She will at least be a B.E/B.tech./Graduate/CA/MBA finance with 6-10 years of experience. Should have at least 6 years in financial modelling with infrastructure sector, power sector across consulting or IPPs or System Integrators Thorough understanding during life of renewable energy projects in India Excellent solution-seeking, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills which extend across all organizational and management levels. Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders. Experience with contracting, legal, project financing.
