Senior Manager – R & D Project
REPORTS TO : Director R & D
DEPARTMENT : R & D Hardware
DESIGNATION : Senior Manager – R & D Project
WORK LOCATON : Bengaluru
BASIC FUNCTION: Support product development and product launch through
Project Management that involves developing and monitoring project schedules, facilitating team members in achieving results as per schedule finalized, and evaluating team members performance in terms of new product development capability as per pre-agreed plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work as a technical Lead to drive innovation and integration of new technologies in the R & D organization
- Contribute to technology roadmap aligned to business viewpoints
- Work proactively with the business to develop new product developments
- Drive identification of project scope, coordinate with stakeholders to identify goals, time frame, resources and budget
- Keep up to date on overall activities of the team, monitor progress, identify critical path and take corrective action
- Accountable for on time execution as well as overall success of the projects
- Manage multiple projects / assignments in parallel
- Any other responsibilities as allotted by Management
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: - Excellent Electrical knowledge and appreciable knowledge in Electronics
- Should have work experience in Embedded Devices Testing and Hardware Design
- Strong knowledge in C and willing to code
- Good analytical thinking and understanding of metering industry
- Knowledge in Mathematics and Digital Signal Processing
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, facilitate and track projects using applicable project management tools
- Knowledge of latest Project Management Tools in R & D
- Excellent facilitation, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and influencing skills.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPENSATION: - Graduate Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE)
- Around 12 – 15 years of experience
- Salary around Rs. 25 Lakhs per annum ( Negotiable)
