Job description
- Statement Credits are a critical part of AXP Value proposition to Cardmembers. While this process spans across all segments, this role involves Unbilled AR reconciliation of GMS Offers. Manage Unbilled AR reconciliation of GMS Offers. GMS offers are voluminous in terms of volume of deals.
- Maintain a robust Control and Compliance environment is critical to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with Automation COE and other stakeholders to automate Unbilled AR reconciliation process by June 2024
- Transition, Stabilization Management of Japan GMS Statement Credit process from Qtr 2
- Strong focus on generating efficiencies vide automation, accelerating accounting processes.
Required Qualifications: Academic
- The incumbent should be a qualified accountant (CA, ICWA) or MBA Finance with at least 5+ years of post-qualification experience or 6 to 10 years of post-qualification experience with B Com/ M Com / CA Intermediate.
Required Qualifications: Additional
- The incumbent will be required to have strong accounting (US GAAP / IFRS ) reconciliation knowledge, policy awareness control mindset.
- Strong communication, relationship management collaboration skills while closely working with various stakeholders across Controllership, Business Finance, Audit and Control groups, etc
- High proficiency in MS-Office applications, Oracle Applications, Essbase and TM1, etc
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve queries with the ability to deal with large set of data, perform trend variance analysis and creating meaningful insights.
- Self-starter with excellent verbal written communication, presentation skills.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvements.
- Quick learner, an eye for detail and ability to work during ambiguity.
