We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant – KSA (located in Bangalore) to be based at our Bangalore office to work in conjunction with our Finance department.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire accounts payable process, from invoice receipt until payment execution for specifically KSA region. Deal with various department to obtain documents for cost projections and actual cost Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with accounting and financial regulations. Analyze vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, resolving any discrepancies before processing. Manage vendor relationships, proactively communicating with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and any other concerns. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows & coordinate with the payable Manager for implementation. Prepare and present reports on various activity, including payable & inventory aging reports, payment terms analysis, departmental costing. Partner with other departments like Purchasing, Accounting, and IT to ensure smooth integration and information flow. Help in monthly and annual account closing process for accounts payable. Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting and financial regulations and implement them within the accounts payable function.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable management, preferably within a multinational company dealing in KSA/GCC region. Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. IFRS would be added advantage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with team members and vendors. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrable knowledge of vendor management and invoice reconciliation.
