Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for business development, strategic planning, and sales operations in an assigned territory covering multiple states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and convert incremental sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams for a deeper understanding of product applications and specifications.
- Develop a 3-5 year strategic growth plan in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Manage distributor and convertor sales teams in the territory.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Gain insights into the sales eco-system movement for manufacturing in India.
- Collaborate with internal teams for global market understanding.
- Develop a strategic growth plan and collaborate with external stakeholders.
- Assume territory responsibilities for the South Zone, focusing on key metrics.
Skills, Expertise, and Qualifications Required:
- Specialization in the Consumer Electronics Vertical.
- Thorough knowledge of product offerings for various markets.
- Competency in meeting sales goals, presentation skills, and territory management.
Additional Skills:
- Preferably located in Chennai or Bangalore.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Electronics Industry.
- Previous experience working in the assigned territory.
- BA/BS/BE University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field may be advantageous.
- Previous work experience with OEM, CM, or ODM in the Electronics Industry is preferable.
- Ability to speak Standard Chinese is not required but would be preferable.
