Job description

Responsibilities:

Oversee and strategically manage daytoday operations of retail establishments ensuring seamless and efficient functioning across various facets including inventory management sales and customer service.

Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to optimize store performance consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets while adapting to evolving market trends and consumer preferences.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for each retail location identifying trends and areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Collaborate closely with vendors negotiating agreements for product supply and maintaining positive vendor relationships to secure favorable terms and conditions that contribute to the profitability of the retail operation.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities utilizing insights to make informed business decisions and stay ahead of industry shifts ultimately enhancing the competitive positioning of the retail business.

Requirements:

Possess a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.

Demonstrate a proven track record as a Retail Operations Manager showcasing at least 3 years of experience overseeing multiple retail locations with a consistent achievement of sales targets.

Exhibit strong leadership and decisionmaking skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team in a dynamic retail environment.

Have a comprehensive understanding of retail trends merchandising strategies and inventory management practices staying informed about the latest industry developments.

Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills fostering effective collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Possess a keen understanding of customer behavior and preferences to inform merchandising strategies.

Skills:

Expertise in retail operations management.

Proficiency in inventory control and supply chain management.

Proven ability in staff training and development cultivating a customercentric culture.

Analytical skills for data analysis and reporting on store performance.

Negotiation skills for vendor agreements and favorable supply terms.

Effective decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities.

Strategic merchandising planning and execution.

Preferred:

Possession of retail industry certifications demonstrating a commitment to professional development.

Previous experience in multilocation retail management showcasing the ability to scale strategies across diverse settings.

Knowledge of pointofsale (POS) systems for seamless transaction processing.

Familiarity with emerging retail technologies and trends.
