Job description

Vygr launches On-Location Reporting jobs for Young journalists intending to learn on-ground journalism and practise on-field. The journalist will be required to cover various news events, delivering accurate, engaging reports. Your role will involve live reporting, interviews, and research to inform and engage our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Reporting: Cover news events, conduct interviews, and deliver live reports on location.

2) Research: Investigate and stay updated on news stories.

3) Ethical Reporting: Adhere to journalistic standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Command over language (English or other language)
• Journalism or related experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with reporting equipment.
• Readiness to work on the field for 8 hours a day, 6 days a weekÂ
• Camera readiness
• Owned mode of transport and phone camera with wired/wireless mic
