I am looking for a junior research fellow (JRF) in a sponsored project to work in the domain of software development for fintech solutions alongwith NLP and AI/ML. The student will have the opportunity to register for PhD in CoDA Lab @ IIT Roorkee. The student should have qualified GATE/NET. 1. Title of project: 'Adaptation of Indigenous and Local Knowledge Systems and Fintech Solutions for Comprehensive Tribal Development in Chhattisgarh State'
2. Sponsor of the project: IIT Bhilai Innovation and Technology Foundation (IBITF)
3. Qualifications: M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc.(Engg)/M.Sc. in IT/CSE/CST/Computer Science/ETC/ECE/Electronic Science/EE/equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (throughout from class X to the qualifying degree). Candidates awaiting results for the 4th semester of Master's program are also eligible to apply. In case of candidates with B.Tech./B.E. in IT/CSE/CST/Computer Science/ETC/ECE/Electronic Science/EE/equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (throughout from class X to the qualifying degree) minimum 2 years of working experience is required . For SC/ST/ Person with Disability (PwD) category, a minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA (throughout from class X to the qualifying degree) is required.
4. Preference will be given for the candidates with: (1) GATE/NET qualification, (2) Knowledge/Experience in AI/ML, GIS, NLP, IoT, Blockchain, (3) Experience in Python coding and database management using MySQL and PHP, etc, (4) Experience in Web and Mobile App Development using full stack including Angular, ReactJS, etc.
5. Emoluments: INR 37,000 + HRA as per Institute guidelines
6. Duration: Initially for 1 year and shall be extended up to 2 years based on the performance of the candidate.
7. Job description: Database creation, Writing Python codes for parameter estimations, Development of website and mobile apps, Translation from English to Indian language and vice versa using NLP tools.
