Position Title: Technical Lead (Design Engineer - MBOM)

Grade: L2/L2.1

Qualification & Specialization: B.E/B. Tech (Mechanical)

Yeras of Experience: 8-10 years

Job Description:

Skills

-ExperiencedCATIA/Creouser in a design environment on assembly design functions

-Mechanical Engineering preferably related to design and applied to commercial vehicle products.

-Understanding ofprocess planningand manufacturing requirements

-Exposure toBIW, Welded & Bolted Assemblies, Frames, Axles in automobile domaingood to have.

-Knowledge of Engineering & Manufacturing BoM change management

-Experience in Assembly Revise, Check-In, Check-Out preferably with Siemens Teamcenter advantageous

-Must have hands-on experience on2D Drawing or 3D annotation with GD&T

-Customer interfacing, communication, documentation.

Job Responsibility

- Thoroughly review MBOM and CAD models before release

-Creating MBOM (manufacturing assemblies) as per manufacturing processes

-Responsible for business needs in E BOM, MBOM and Manufacturing Planning

-Responsible to prepare 2D Drawing or 3D annotation with GD&T

-Responsible for gap analysis between Engineering BoM & Manufacturing BOM

-MBOM design reviews through DMU presentation and manipulation

-Responsible for Engineering change management and systematic release thru PLM

-Confirm Digital vehicle layout and check the assembly sequence fitment plant wise.

Additional

-Good in Communication Skills

-Should be passionate and work oriented.

-Should be ready to work in Shifts as needed

-The work is at client site & has alternate Saturday as weekly off

-The project is for automobile domain & requires engineering skills as a basic background

-Candidate should be eager to learn new technologies.
