In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
PLM/PDM System Management -AutodeskVault/Windchill/Enovia
Oversee the configuration, administration, and maintenance of the PLM and PDM systems.
Collaborate with vendors to implement upgrades, patches, and new functionalities.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within AutodeskVault/Windchill/Enovia and CAD tools like Inventor/CREO/SW/CATIA.
Business Process Optimization:
Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance product development efficiency.
Reporting and Analytics:
Develop and maintain reporting and analytics capabilities within PLM/PDM systems.
Provide insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with PLM/PDM software vendors.
Evaluate vendor solutions, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.
Integration and Data Management:
Lead efforts to integrate PLM/PDM systems with other enterprise applications.
Manage data migration, transformation, and data quality initiatives within the PLM/PDM environment.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure PLM/PDM systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive product data.
Collaborate with various teams to drive digital transformation initiatives and streamline complex Engineering tools platforms aligning with Product vision and roadmap. Supporting CAD integration activities between Autodesk and PLM systems (Windchill or 3D Experience)
The essential requirements of the job include:
12-16 years of experience in Autodesk Vault or a similar Data Management system like Windchill or Enovia or Any CAD designing tools like CREO/SW/CATIA/INVENTOR software.
Responsible for access controls appropriate to the business units. Responsible for AutoDesk server management and File replication strategy.
Leadership capabilities which include Line Management experiences.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business teams and key stakeholders. Experience in developing PLM strategies and plans
Experience in Upgrade methodology and process and roll- out the implementation for tools like Autodesk or other Product data management tools like Enovia or Windchill
