Responsible to design, drive and facilitating the implementation of the Group Occupational health & safety strategy, policies, operational effectiveness & assurance across all project sites and operations.
Develop and execute occupational safety & health improvement plans and monitor the performance regularly through different Trends & Analytics and Monitoring systems.
Conduct periodic Governance committee meetings as per AGEL Safety Governance structure , Inspection planning & Audits. Also responsible to take various initiatives to improve safety culture & awareness across projects and operational sites.
Ensure the maintenance of records for all regulatory compliance obligations required under all applicable safety related laws.
Serve as primary contact at HO for all safety related activities both at HO and at sites. ( Projects and O&M)
Work as Dy Head of Corporate OHS of AGEL for OHS improvement plans and play a key role in feedback and assisting their implementation.
Manage the implementation and sustenance of OHS programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.
Maintain robust MIS and seamless coordination with the Group safety function for implementation of Group Safety objectives.
Participate in the investigation of incidents, near misses and property damage incidents. Ensure follow-up of recommendations to ensure 360° implementation of CAPA to prevent recurrence and proper records/documents are maintained.
Conduct & support routine OHS inspections and audits (Internal & External) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company EHS policies, procedures and practices.
Maintain internal and regulatory reporting including data collection and reporting.
Ensure efficient functioning of Integrated Management systems (ISO 9000, 14000 and OHSAS 18000 & BCP )
Support Business Excellence, Corporate quality, ESG etc. and other key important stakeholders.
Qualifications Qualification :
B.E/B.Tech ( Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil)/ Power etc.) from AICTE approves institutes,
Full time ADIS/ PDIS approved course from recognized institute.
NEBOSH Certification
Experience
Shall have 18-20 ears of Experience (Relevant Exp of 5+ yrs in managing Corporate Safety )
