Job Title : Senior DevOps EngineerLocation : Remote / BangaloreAbout Us:We are a product-based organization working on the mission of digitally transforming the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry through our intelligent business transformation platform.About the Role:We are looking for a talented Azure DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes, Azure Data Factory, and infrastructure management. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, orchestrating Kubernetes clusters, and ensuring efficient data processing workflows.Responsibilities:Azure DevOps Implementation:- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for various projects.- Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize build and release processes.Kubernetes and Container Orchestration:- Configure, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in Azure, ensuring scalability, availability, and performance.- Implement containerization best practices using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.Azure Data Factory (ADF):- Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for efficient data integration, transformation, and orchestration.- Work with data engineers and architects to optimize and streamline data workflows.Infrastructure as Code (IaC):- Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform) to define, deploy, and manage infrastructure resources on Azure.- Implement version-controlled infrastructure configurations for repeatability and scalability.Monitoring and Optimization:- Implement monitoring solutions for Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and data workflows.- Optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness in Azure and Kubernetes environments.Security and Compliance:- Enforce security best practices for Azure, Kubernetes, and data processing environments.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies.Collaboration and Documentation:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and support for Azure, Kubernetes, and data-related initiatives.- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.Incident Response and Troubleshooting:- Participate in incident response activities, diagnosing and resolving issues in Azure, Kubernetes, and data workflows.- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.Candidate Requirements:- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Azure Data Factory, and infrastructure management.- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code tools.- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).- Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).- Familiarity with data integration, transformation, and processing concepts.- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).- Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and infrastructure automation.- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Azure Data Engineer are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
