Position Summary...

Team and Position Summary: The Marketing Technology Team @Walmart Labs has the mandate of increasing the rate of customer acquisition, retention, and revenue by optimising products and inventing new marketing channels. We are a bunch of super talented and passionate engineers, data scientists and analysts working together on an array of impactful problems in domains ranging from displaying ads on the Open web and Social Marketing and organic search channels on walmart.com and other properties owned by Walmart. This team focuses on Search Engine Marketing (SEM) for Walmart where we drive the reporting and analytic sides of Walmart SEM program. We optimize money spent on ads on search engines on ROAS and other KPIs as well ensure items from Wal-Mart's catalog are converted at scale in search engines. What you'll do: We are looking for self driven backend big data engineers to join our growing team. They will play a crucial role in developing, analysing and enhancing the SEM experience of Walmart.com site. Design and build data pipelines to analyse huge datasets, create powerful visualisations to derive insights and partner with the product team to brain storm and act on these opportunities. Build and maintain infrastructure and platform to derive maximise data driven impact. You must be able to accurately prioritise projects, make sound judgments, work to improve the processes, and get the right things done.Job tags
