Job description
The Oracle Applications Programmer will be an integral part of the ERP team within the back office applications unit. This team is primarily responsible for implementing Logistics and Finance business requirements. As a SQL Oracle Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in the analysis, design, coding, integration, testing, and maintenance of software modules.Key Responsibilities:- Analyze business requirements and design solutions within Oracle Applications (EBS) environment.- Develop, code, and integrate software modules using Oracle development tools including SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, and Workflow Builder.- Maintain and enhance existing software modules ensuring functionality and performance meet business needs.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.- Utilize framework development knowledge to optimize software architecture and design.- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, including Workato, APEX, and BPEL, to enhance system capabilities.Position Requirements:- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Applications (EBS) development.- Proficient in Oracle development tools: SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, and Workflow Builder.- Strong understanding of framework development principles.- Familiarity with Workato, APEX, and BPEL is considered advantageous.- Experience with Logistics and Finance modules is preferred.- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changes, and perform effectively under pressure.- Capable of planning and estimating development work for assigned tasks.- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is advantageous.
