IT Engineer (Infrastructure, Network, Security)

Job description
Infrastructure Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain the IT infrastructure delivered by IDEMIA, including servers, storage, and data centers.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Network Administration:
- Plan, implement, and manage the organizations network architecture.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability.
Security Implementation:
- Work together with Security Officer to develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the organizations information assets.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
System Deployment and Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Ensure timely updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system security and performance.
Incident Response:
- Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and maintain an incident response plan.
Backup and Recovery:
- Establish and maintain data backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Test and validate backup and recovery procedures regularly.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations, network topologies, and security measures.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Collaboration: - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and support, to ensure seamless integration of IT systems.
Compliance: - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to infrastructure, network, and security.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in IT security and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Engineer, with a focus on infrastructure, network, and security.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, security frameworks, and infrastructure components.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CISSP) are a plus.
