EssenceMediacom is an agency of GroupM, the world's largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for an Associate Media Planning Director to join us.

Measures of success
In 3 months:
- Win the team's trust
- Thorough understanding of the processes, platforms, tools, technologies in use on client business
- Get on top of all the ongoing campaign operation
In 6 months:
- Become part of a high performing and motivated team to deliver client delight
- Refine implementation strategy and delivery to exceed expectations and KPIs
- Develop the teams broader view and technical capability across platforms
- Drive series of test & learn initiatives and share learnings

- Be a trusted expert of team raising your individual and team profile internally and externally
- Create best in class work to be recognized across the network
- Driving process level improvement for creating operational efficiency and workload
Responsibilities of the role:
Local Client POC for all biddable campaign planning and activation
- Participate in campaign briefing calls with brand clients
- Present biddable portions of media plans alongside Local teams to clients
- Lead Client WIP calls to present Biddable campaign performance and discuss next steps
- Lead Biddable PCA meetings with clients (marketing as well as brand teams)
- Manage conversations with Senior client stakeholders (Director / C Suite) to share performance updates and their business impact
- Cascade Biddable best practices through education sessions for clients
- Share regional POV on new developments, T&L, Performance
- Lead meetings with various client stakeholders to support initiatives around Marketing Data & Tech
Biddable Campaign Planning & Strategy
- Audit brief with local team and identify opportunities for biddable channels
- Identify Test and Learn opportunities based on the brief and platform capabilities
- Provide the local teams with proposed allocation of budget for biddable channels
- Vet through the shared CPMs, CPCs, Efficiency, Benchmarking & Forecasts by offshore activation team and the industry benchmark updated by local publisher to pass it to local market planners
- Design a media plan for the client's objective and media budget across all biddable channels
- Work with local teams on Biddable inputs for Annual Media strategy and plan which include designing audiences from brief, working with CDT / Activation to get their sizing. Understanding how these audiences will be integrated with the overall media plan. Identifying strategies that will help achieve the clients business challenge and formulating the same in an easily ingestible manner for the annual discussion
- Prepare annual biddable performance forecast
- Adjusting media plan to mirror inflight performance trends and discussing the same with the clients
Driving Learning Agenda
- Craft the biddable learning agenda for their market clusters
- Work with Hub leads to ensure consistency of output across Hubs for the learning agenda
Partnership Support
- Own and maintain a relationship with a publisher partner for the client
- Schedule regular meetings with local / regional publisher teams to discuss performance / support requirements / new products and innovations
- Keep track of JBP goals and work with partners to ensure appropriate credits are added to accounts in a timely manner
Performance Delivery
- Own performance delivery for all biddable campaigns for their market clusters
- Work with activation manager to ensure pacing / optimizations are in check
- Provide recommendations / solutions to activation team for performance deviations
- Share performance updates with clients during the flight of the campaigns
- Identifying opportunities to amend media plan to mirror current delivery trends
Commercial
- Support all commercial task of actualisation to invoice client as planned
- Validate PO is being raised to correct entity and use Olive to check PO balance
