Esri India offers several solutions on Cloud. Site Scan is its solution for Drone Data Processing which is hosted in India. The other offerings are to provide its technology on MeiTY approved Clouds with managed GIS services. Esri's software comes with numerous AI/ML functions, integration of real-time data and the ability to create 3D models and digital twins with ease. Esri India also partners with third party organizations that provide satellite imagery and other geospatial content. Esri India also partners with Cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, Railtel etc.

Esri India has a very strong position of leadership in the government sector with large customer base in both central and state government departments. National Mapping Organizations (e.g., Survey of India, Geological Survey of India, NIC, RGI), forest departments, water resources, land management, SDMAs, Dept. of Space, Regional Remote Sensing Application Centres, State IT and Planning departments etc. are our customers.

Role Overview

Esri India's Commercial Business Unit has a sharp focus on Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail & CPG and Logistics/Supply Chain industry verticals. We are looking for an experienced Senior Presales Leader who can help us in growing our revenue and customer base in the Commercial Segment. The opportunity requires the candidate to have strong understanding of applications of Location Intelligence and analytics in the focus markets. Commercial Presales Head will lead a team of Presales professionals currently based at Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore.

Job roles and responsibilities:

• Create a Vision and Strategy for Commercial Presales domain.
• Own the overall business plan and execution of the Vision and Strategy.
• Support the Sales team in driving existing business and gain net new business for Esri India portfolio in the Commercial Business Segment covering Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail & CPG, Logistics & Supply Chain
• Work as a Consultant/Advisor to customer organizations and use your creativity to propose solutions that help them reach their goals and initiatives. Use your innovative whiteboarding and presentation skills to support visual storytelling.
• Consistently conduct research and pursue professional development to ensure competitive knowledge and translate this into Presales strategy.
• Participate in and represent Esri India at workshops, webinars, and conferences.
• Effectively communicate complex issues, verbally and in writing, to internal and external audiences
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Presales Professionals to execute the plans to meet annual Presales Goals.
• Lead by example through perseverance and take initiatives to resolve issues/challenges.

Desired skillset:

• Overall experience of at least 10 years in GIS domain
• Domain Experience: Advanced knowledge of Enterprise business, new markets, geospatial technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers in the commercial domain.
• Understanding of Esri Technology – ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Business Analyst
• Understanding of various types of location data and methods of location-based analytics with the data
• Experience in presenting all aspects of Integrated partner solutions to key decision makers at the executive level and explain it in non-technical terms to business people.
• Ability to work closely with Sales and Business Development Teams with a strong focus on closing deals and achieve revenue targets for the organization.
• Effective relationship-building skills, and a demonstrated consultative approach when working with core clients.
• Ability to think strategically and solve challenges.
• Ability to understand business situations and make sound decisions about positioning technology and solution.
• Ability to manage key transformational engagements, and large deals.
• Ability to lead Presales teams.
• Strong desire to learn new things.
