Senior Transport Planner/ Traffic Engineer

Job description

We are currently looking for the right individual to join our Traffic Engineering / Transportation Planning Group, in the role of Sr. Traffic Engr/Transport Planner or Simulation Expert. The candidate will be working on both traffic engineering and planning assignments.

Additional requirements and position responsibilities include:

• Lead in modeling, simulation, traffic management, and impact assessment-related studies.
• To contribute to US assignments as well as Indian public /private sector projects.
• Coordinate with the US team for technical deliverables.
• Assist in Business Development Activities, preparing technical proposals.

• Project management duties, team management
• Engage in public meetings, prepare, and participate in client presentations.

• Master’s in Traffic Engineering / Transport Planning from a reputed institute
• Min 3 yrs experience in relevant field post to the master’s degree.
• Knowledge of Traffic Engineering and/or Transport Planning software (VISSIM, Synchro, Vistro etc.) from past assignments (a strong plus)
• Shall have a “can-do” attitude.
• Should be capable of handling small teams.
• Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills
