Finite Element Models Research Engineer
Description: We are looking for a motivated engineer with solid technical background to develop finite element based model for advanced contact mechanics, thermomechanical model and fluid solid interaction.
The scope of projects can be adjusted based on the individual we hire, but he/she needs to meet the following qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:-- PhD in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline.
- Minimum 4 years experience in building physics based models.
- Experience with Abaqus or similar FEM analysis software.
- Fundamental knowledge in contact mechanics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
- Demonstrated research capability such as publication in reputed engineering journals.
- Highly motivated to initiate project ideas and see through project deliverables. Passion for innovation.
Desirable Qualifications: - Prior experience with lubrication and tribology.
- Prior experience solving solid-fluid interaction problem.
- Knowledge of coding using Python and/or Fortran.
