Job description
Understand and translate customer input into automotive component designs, including connectors, terminals, and fuse boxes.
Manage all design phases, from concept creation to final design, ensuring validation and obtaining customer approvals.
Utilize knowledge of various plastic materials and their processing, such as PA6, PA66, PBT, PP, PPS, with or without fillers.
Proficiently create 3D models and 2D drafts for product designs while adhering to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
Apply expertise in IATF 16949, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and MSA to ensure quality and compliance.
Conduct design validation, product testing, and validation activities, adhering to international standards like ISO, DIN, JASO, and USCAR.
Take responsibility for end-to-end project delivery within the R&D team, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills, resolving issues that arise during the design and development process.
Collaborate effectively with multiple teams to ensure seamless coordination and achievement of project targets.
Maintain open communication, both internally and with customers, to facilitate successful project outcomes and meet organizational goals.
