Job description
Responsibilities
- To carryout routine scheduled maintenance works (preventive, corrective, predictive) and respond to equipment faults.
- Swift response to emergencies, breakdowns, unplanned problems and repair works.
- Diagnosing breakdown problems and implementing corrective and preventive measures to avoid repetitive failures.
- Identify the spares and consumable required for each maintenance activity and ensure that spares and consumables are available as per DISHA and Adani Standards.
- Raise PR for the spares and consumables required, pertaining to HIP, LP Turbines, Gland steam system, Fast cooling system, Dehumidifiers and TG auxiliaries.
- Co-ordinate with T.C for the procurement of spares and consumables for Turbine & Aux. section in a timely manner and make sure that the procurement officer understands the urgency of the requirement of spares and consumables.
- Monitoring and controlling the maintenance cost as per budget.
- Ensure that complete maintenance team (including outsourcing) have correct safety gadgets, tools and tackles to perform the assigned works.
- Keep accurate and up to date records of all the equipment history.
- Timely preparation of all MIS reports
- Co-ordinate with other departments for work permits and liquidate defects.
- Maintain higher standards of a safe, Health and Environmental conscious working environment.
- Indigenization of all critical spares.
- Guide the subordinates and their activities.
- Training the subordinates to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Co-ordinate with superiors and subordinates to meet the organization goals.
- Introducing innovative maintenance practices, making system modifications for better performance.
- Implementation of new Management systems from time to time.
- Sustenance of the management systems like DISHA, IMS, 5S, CHETNA & BPO projects as per the company standards.
