Job Summary

The Payroll Processing Specialist, reporting to and under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager, Global Payroll, is responsible for processing timely and accurate payroll and researching and responding to related questions including from employees, Tax agencies, and outside vendors.

Responsibilities

● Prepare timely and accurate United States payroll processing.

● Serve as back-up resource to liaise with outsourced international payroll processing vendors.

● Partner with the Human Resources team and the Finance team to provide timely and accurate payroll reports.

● Manage workflow and processing of various company payroll schedules.

● Maintain payroll and HRIS Information and control input of data to ensure accuracy and integrity required for internal and external audit and reporting purposes.

● Develop procedures to ensure all payments, notifications, deductions, filings, for country, state, and local municipalities are current and correctly processed.

● Serve as the point of contact for payroll matters and ensure that questions are resolved as quickly as possible with a focus on providing superior customer service.

● Promptly execute all post-processing audits to validate payroll accuracy and make any necessary adjustments with the goals of an error-free payroll.

● Prepare payroll reports and KPIs and distribute to leadership as requested.

● Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems/Computer Science, Accounting or related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience.

● 6 years' United States payroll processing experience

● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Preferred Qualifications

● Global Payroll experience; preferably in TMF or Workday.

● Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

● Prior payroll experiences within a publicly traded, United States based company.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation and payroll practices and related rules and regulations.
