Job description
- We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant sales manager to manage our Industrial Water category product sales
- Suitable candidate is required to create business opportunities and responsibility to sell products (mainly Membrane Bioreactors, Ultra-filtration, and Membrane housings) in the Industrial/commercial market with Consultative Approach to OEMs, EPC, End User & Channel Partners for business development and work closely with Building Services, end users in Food & Beverage, Pharma, Textile, CETPS and Consultants in the region
- Incumbent will have to provide sales management for the specified region/territory and sales development activities, in alignment with the strategic direction from the company
Essential Responsibilities /Expectations:
- The Sales resource works closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet assigned objectives.
- Focus on upcoming Green Field projects, ongoing brownfields, and retrofits/replacement business in the region.
- Provide Technical training, inputs to consultants and OEM s.
- Drive growth by continuously creating and selling customer value propositions, geographical coverage, meeting End User/OEM for assigned territory. Focus on our competitive advantage while leveraging our broad product portfolio.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to customers using Pentair technology to solve identified water & wastewater treatment Product needs.
- Partner cross-functionally within organization to optimize our solutions offering.
- Develop a plan to effectively meet sales targets by meeting or exceeding key metrics for revenue, account retention.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base.
- Provide technical support to Channel Partners, OEMs & End Customers on Industrial ZLD applications.
- Using CRM Salesforce for sales management
Educational Qualification / experience / skills:
- Bachelors in Engg degree with 5+ years of Experience in application expertise and technical selling
- Deep domain knowledge in Ultrafiltration & Membrane Bio Reactor
- Well-developed sales skills to make decisions and evaluations to determine the needs of the customers.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Excellent oral, written & strong communication skills in both technical and business terms.
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Treats all employees and customers with dignity, respect, and courtesy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and prior use of a CRM tool to manage customer engagements and run sales reports.
- Knowledge of target market industries is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills
