Job description
Designation : CLOUD DEVOPS ENGINEERJob Description :Role & responsibilities : - Follow DevOps best practices at par with industry standards.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to implement DevOps best practices and streamline the software delivery process.- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines - Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, ensuring efficient and automated software delivery.- Maintain the CI infra like Jenkins and their build agents or slaves.- Automate the process for configuration management and application deployment using Ansible.- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Utilize Terraform to define and provision infrastructure, automating the deployment of resources and ensuring consistency across environments.- Configuration Management : Implement and manage configuration management using Ansible to automate repetitive tasks and maintain consistency in system configurations.- Containerization and Orchestration : Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestrate containers using Docker Compose or other container orchestration tools.- AWS Micro services : Design, deploy, and manage micro services architecture on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.- Version Control: Manage and maintain version control repositories on GitHub, collaborating with development teams to ensure code versioning best practices.- Basic AWS Services : Understanding Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of AWS services, EC2, S3, ELB, Auto scaling, EBS, RDS, VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Elastic IP, Transit Gateway, Route Tables, Route 53, Cloud Watch, IAM, SQS, SNS and SES. Etc.- Deploy software package updates as required in DevOps Infra.- Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes.Preferred candidate profile :- Experience working with AWS cloud services and familiarity with cloud computing concepts.- Working experience using Jenkins, Terraform- Ansible and Docker for automation, orchestration, containerization.- Experience designing, deploying and maintaining microservices architecture in AWS.- Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient software releases- Knowledge of version control systems, especially GitHub and standard practices in code versioning (ref:hirist.tech)
