Role Summary:

The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing our company's financial accounting, reporting, and control activities. They will ensure the accuracy of financial statements, compliance with financial regulations, and the efficiency of financial operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of financial management within the consulting industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls. Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit and ensure timely completion. Prepare and monitor the company's budget, financial forecasts, and variance analyses. Manage cash flow forecasting and oversee financial planning and analysis activities. Lead the finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities. Liaise with other departments to support overall company goals and strategies. Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making to senior management. Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and best practices in the industry.

Skill Sets:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial challenges. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
