What would you do? This position is part of the Global Process Owner Team (GPO) which is responsible for developing, monitoring, and driving change to achieve standardized, compliant and optimized processes and solutions across Source to Pay functions at Procurement Plus. This includes regularly assessing new requirements to drive a prioritized set of projects to improve the process, measurement and related tools in collaboration with delivery and other stakeholder groups. The S2C GPO Lead collaborates with category management, sourcing, shared services, business stakeholders, technology groups and client stakeholders to ensure effective planning and execution of these initiatives relying on best practices, previous practical experience gained being a practitioner as well as good project/ program management skills. It is also expected that the GPO Project Lead would be familiar with responsible buying, sustainability and risk related requirements and support driving these principles into process execution. This position will also oversee other, more junior S2C GPO members to ensure that they successfully drive GPO activities and to help them to learn and develop their skills and capabilities.
What are we looking for? Qualifications: • 8+ years’ experience in sourcing and procurement • 5+ years of team management experience • Relevant project management or transformation experience • Excellent command of English is a must • Bachelor's degree Professional Skills: • Excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs, and demonstrating leadership • Functional-level understanding of technology solutions; experience in driving digital disruption for the procurement function utilizing technologies like RPA, AI, Blockchain, amongst others • Proven ability to work creatively, analytically and drive problem-solving with difficult stakeholders • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented, virtual, diverse, multi-cultural environment • Excellent communication and soft skills; proven ability to work with and manage senior stakeholders • Deep understanding of savings methodologies, buying channels and sourcing, contracting best practices • Proven project and program management skills and experience • Extensive team management experience and proven people development skills Responsibilities: • Effectively lead and organize the Source to Contract GPO activities (including Category Management and SRM processes and tools) as a BAU function as well as a contributor to Transformation at Procurement Plus • Effectively lead, coach and develop people in the S2C GPO to create a high performing team • Lead senior stakeholder influencing, collaboration and communication activities for the S2C GPO team and related functions • Effectively apply Sourcing, Contracting, Category Management and SRM best practices to drive changes in processes, metrics and related tools • Apply best practice savings methodologies and drive their practical application in the category management, sourcing and contracting process • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, CIO and other technology teams to determine and drive changes in the process and tools including but not exclusively to measurement, metrics, targets, thresholds and exceptions • Monitor process performance, and identify standardization and improvement opportunities • Identify technology gaps and drive process simplification and automation • Lead, support and execute improvement and transformation projects as required
Roles and Responsibilities: •Key accountabilities: • Lead and manage the GPO team of 40 FTEs (incl. recruitment, R&Rs, talent mgt., succession planning, upskilling etc.) and give strategic direction to drive team scope and priorities across category management/source to pay, risk and helpdesk • Key counterpart for TFO CTOs, CS&S Transformation Lead, CIO Account Lead, BT lead to drive digital transformation/ initiative planning and execution including P+ Ops Transformation Plan and J2IO plan • Assess, evaluate and drive key design and improvement decisions including prioritization and oversee deployment with GPO team for P+ on key tools and initiatives including MMD, SynOps S2C, TSM/Supplier Hub, BuyNow, SNOW/ BSR etc. • Run governance across S2P processes, tools, initiatives, adoption, KPI and target achievement with Markets/MUs, Category management, Technology teams, Tech & Tools, Analytics and client teams including Risk, Transformation, SI&S etc. • Identify, oversee and drive efficiency improvement, optimization and automation initiatives across Source to Pay including the assessment and business case for new tools and solutions • Identify and recommend operational metrics, targets in collaboration with delivery leads and MUs • Integrate Sustainability and ESG aspects in the Source to Pay process and tools and drive related governance across category, SI&S and technical teams • Drive Celonis strategic deployment plan – resulting in ~20 FTE savings in FY23, estimated 26 FTE savings in FY24 – other benefits include compliance, accuracy, speed, customer satisfaction etc. • Drive AI use cases in collaboration with CIO, TfO / Celonis – ASK chatbot already live • Oversee and drive agile payment program and act as a sponsor for suppliers (Amex v-pay, Barclay’s PrecisionPay) • Oversee iSS services for Tier 1 Helpdesk (90 FTEs) as a service manager – drive scope development, SLAs, metrics and efficiencies • Go-to-market support: regularly present to client teams and clients on Celonis, TSM, BuyNow, Shared Services, Supplier Hub etc. • Oversee Risk Operations (10 FTEs) ; BAU delivery, initiatives and governance with client counterpartAny Graduation
