Opportunity
Ensures the timely delivery of import and export containers utilising
preferred or line-approved routings while providing the highest level
of customer satisfaction within a limited scope or area of
responsibility.
Job description of Executive - Operations:
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling terminal gate, Yard, and warehouse operations and all its stages, as well to handle all exceptions of operations.
- Ensures the timely delivery of import and export containers utilizing preferred or line-approved routings while providing the highest level of customer satisfaction within a limited scope or area of responsibility.
- Actively follows and promotes the ADT Safety and Security policies and ensure that fellow employees and visitors are doing the same. These policies are to be always followed within the port environment to ensure a safe and secure workplace for all.
- Ensures that all store door import/export requirements are maintained to ensure the timely departure of import/export cargo as per service delivery requirements.
- Reports daily store door movements, service failure issues and other
challenges to supervisor. - Monitors and resolves problems to ensure movement of idle containers.
Tracks and reports potential demurrage. - Coordinates with agents, line and terminal operations to ensure movement of containers as planned.
- Maintains data integrity through accurate inputs/updates to all related
systems. - Ensures that maximum and effective utilization of manpower and assets.
- Ensures that all operations related documentation work accuracy.
