About Business Line

This role will be part of our Investment Solution Group IT organization at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), working in our Development/Operations (DevOps) support team. Our team provides support, analysis, and development for the Portfolio Management business users at SSGA. The candidate will have a blend of ongoing project & support work within our homegrown and vended portfolio construction and middle office systems.

Key Responsibilities & Experience Range

As a member of the Prose team, the candidate will utilize his skills to ramp up and gain exposure in both the functional investment and technical domains to provide solutions to our end users. On a day-to-day basis, the job may entail working as a team to resolve a production issue, working on an ongoing enhancement to our existing platform, or interacting with our business partners to prioritize and gather requirements for future initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be min. 10 years exp. in L3 support having Oracle , Scheduled Jobs, and Unix Scripts knowledge.

Skills & Knowledge

Qualification & Certifications

• Mandatory to have Min. 10+ Years of experience in Oracle, Scheduled Jobs, and Unix Scripts knowledge.
• Good to know Java, JIRA, SNOW, Shell scripting, Autosys, Splunk, Dynatrace, Jenkins
• Should have experience in Front office / Portfolio Construction / Trading Applications
• Knowledge of developing and maintaining middle-tier and backend modules using Java, Spring, messaging, Oracle technologies.
• Playing a key developer role in an experienced, energetic onshore/offshore team on a rapid, agile development schedule
• Working closely with the product owners and analysts to design, model, and develop changes for both new and existing projects
• Optimizing backend queries for better application and system performance
• Resolving production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed to resolve issues

Primary Skills (Must Have)

Min. 10+ Years of experience in Oracle, Scheduled Jobs, and Unix Scripts knowledge.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

Java, JIRA, SNOW, Shell scripting, Autosys, Splunk, Dynatrace, Jenkins

USP of the Role

Candidate will gain immense domain knowledge in Front office / Portfolio Construction / Trading Applications subjects along with technical expertise in enterprise middleware technology.
