Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nodejs Intern at KnoBee. The Nodejs Intern will be responsible for collaborating with the development team to design and build scalable server-side applications. Day-to-day tasks include writing reusable, testable, and efficient code, implementing security and data protection, and integrating the front-end elements built by co-workers into the application.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express or Koa
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc
- Familiarity with web application stack and APIs
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with React or other front-end frameworks is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required
