Profile - Senior DevOps EngineerExperience -7 Years Notice - 30 days. Location - BangaloreRole Overview :As a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in AWS, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure and tools necessary for the development, deployment, and operation of our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, optimize performance, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, strong expertise in infrastructure automation, and a proven track record of delivering results in complex environments.Key Responsibilities :Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure components, including but not limited to EC2, ECS, Elastic Load Balancing, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK to ensure consistency, repeatability, and scalability.Implement and manage container orchestration platforms, with a focus on AWS ECS, and familiarity with AWS EKS.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline to automate software delivery and deployment processes.Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth deployments in production environments.Monitor and analyze system performance, security, and availability using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus, and implement proactive measures to maintain high availability and reliability.Implement best practices for security, compliance, and governance in AWS environments, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and encryption mechanisms.Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, share knowledge and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the DevOps practice within the organization.Qualifications and Experience :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a focus on AWS.Deep understanding of AWS services and architecture, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.Proven experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.Strong expertise in containerization technologies, particularly Docker and AWS ECS, and familiarity with Kubernetes (AWS EKS).Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles in cloud environments.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
