Job Title : Senior Business Analyst (Eagle Platform)Key Duties & Responsibilities :- Application Functionality Development: Apply up-to-date expertise as a proven Business Analyst to contribute to the development, design, and execution of application functionality and flows, particularly focused on Conversion/Upgrades/Enhancements within the Eagle platform.- Project Management: Lead and participate in multiple projects by completing and updating documentation, addressing project scope, managing daily priorities, and ensuring timely and efficient deliverables within deadlines.- Process Improvement: Review current processes of business users, identify opportunities or strategies to improve business efficiency, and ensure maximum customer satisfaction through negotiation and building relationships with key stakeholders.- Documentation & Analysis: Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), perform Impact and Gap analysis, and ensure proper formal documentation of analysis outcomes.- Risk Identification: Identify and communicate risks during the analysis phase and raise flags in advance to mitigate potential issues.- End-to-End Analysis: Lead or contribute to end-to-end analysis tasks including scoping, estimation, planning, work allocation, resource management, progress tracking, status reporting, management reporting, UAT support, and Production Deployment.- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with the development team to clarify requirements during the implementation phase and provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA process. Serve as a liaison between IT and business users teams and support partners across different locations.- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate regular communication with IT and business partners using various methods to monitor progress toward project goals, task status, and address any issues that may arise.- Reporting & Escalation: Provide timely reporting of tasks and status to higher management, follow proper escalation paths, and take initiatives aligned with project/management goals.- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction, teamwork, and ethical conduct.Functional Knowledge :- Sound knowledge of end-to-end functionalities and flows in Eagle, with proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in this field.- Hands-on experience in Cash Projections, Exceptions, and Oversight from an Accounting Perspective.- Excellent knowledge of Accounting Reference Data and important attributes.- Understanding of the settlement process and generation of final positions.- Knowledge of EOD, SOD, Intra-Day Processes, and Business-As-Usual flows from a generic accounting perspective.- Ability to understand data from different market data providers like Bloomberg, IDC, FACTSET.- Knowledge of Reconciliation & Corporate Action processes.- Understanding of different Accounting Reports and their design.- Ability to query databases and analyze data for validation.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall development processes.Nice to have :- Experience with other Middle office Accounting platforms such as Portia, Investone, Geneva, etc.- Understanding of financial mathematics related to Accounting.- Scrum Product Owner role experience.- Knowledge of cost-saving and efficiency improvement processes like Six Sigma and PMP.- Business Analysis & Functional Certifications such as CFA, CBAP, NCFM, PMP, etc.Technical Skills :- Understanding of data warehouse and ETL processes.- Understanding of Batch processes and related testing.- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.- Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.- Hands-on experience with Eagle product and its various modules & utilities.Nice to have : Hands-on experience with technical tools like JIRA, Autosys, Sterling Integrator.Qualification & Industry Expertise : Experience : 10 to 11 years of relevant work experience for both Team Members and Lead roles. Qualification : Graduation in Computer Engineering or related subjects. Post Graduation or Specialization in Finance or Financial Services will be an added advantage. (ref:hirist.tech)
