Job description

Software Developer – Full Stack; Thiruvananthapuram; Work From office ;

Exp – 3+ years

Key responsibilities

1.

Projects ·

Working under the direction of the firm’s Development Manager and Project managers as part of projects to develop and implement new applications, upgrades and changes to existing systems. ·

Maintaining and developing skills in Web, .Net, database and development technologies currently used by the firm, particularly Enterprise scale applications integration and other technologies as required by the IT Director

2.

Testing and documentation ·

Performing appropriate pre-release testing ·

Advising test staff ·

Documentation of database administration and maintenance tasks such that they can be performed by other team members, if required

3.

Support ·

Assist development and support staff, sometimes out of hours, with application releases and system upgrades ·

4 th

line support, including diagnoses and resolution of database issues, faults and rectification

REQUIRED experience

Essential ·

Web Application Development ·

Dotnet Core, Dotnet Standard, ASP.NET Core, C# ·

HTML, CSS, SCSS ·

JavaScript, TypeScript ·

Angular 8+ ·

RESTful API, JSON ·

T-SQL ·

MVC (Inc. Razor) ·

Most importantly - a passion for programming and the desire/flexibility to learn new things.

2. Desirable ·

Other programming languages (Ruby, Python, Bootstrap) ·

Entity Framework core ·

Azure DevOps + portal ·

Any Experience with Linux, Docker/Kubernetes would be advantageous ·

Console application development in C#

Additional responsibilities 1. Essential ·

Working within a distributed development team (20+) ·

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies ·

Experience with task management software (Azure DevOps/JIRA/Pivotal tracker etc.) ·

Git and DevOps repository management ·

Development and support of enterprise applications
