Job Description
Working as CADworx Technician or Designer and carrying out all 3D modelling work using various modules and tools in CADWorx and other 3D application. The ideal candidate will help in performing the 3D modelling work on various projects and delivering the plant 3D model and delivering the GA drawings and isometrics.

Should be able to utilize and work in
CADworx efficiently
Knowledge of Design / ISODRAFT
Carry out GA extraction, dimensioning and annotation
Modelling of various type of Equipment
Modelling of civil structural and pipe supports
Participate in the 3D model review sessions when required
Review P&IDs, PFDs, Vender drawings and instrument details and utilize these information in 3D modelling
Preparation and checking of Equipment as well as Nozzle orientation
Preparation of Piping General Arrangement and Support drawings
Preparation of MTO for piping items
Coordinate with other disciplines and utilize the information in building the 3D model.
Check the drawings from other disciplines and provide comment as IDC process (Interdisciplinary Drawing Check)
Provide civil information when required
Prepare Piping Layout and other drawings in 2D
Ability to work in flexible hours, occasionally more than working hours per week to meet client deadlines
Candidate Specification
Requisite Skill Sets:
Must have work experience in CADworx
Able to carry out GA drawing extraction, dimensioning and annotation.
Able to generate Isometric drawings using ISODRAFT.
Candidate having experience in the role of PDMS administrator in setting up the project, managing the database, building the catalogue, loading the Spec files etc. is more preferred.
Knowledge of Plant Layout, Piping GA, Nozzle Orientation, Bill of Material and Isometrics.
Well conversant with all piping design aspect and working Piping discipline.
Understanding of all piping components and valves including respective standards and dimensional details.
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and MicroStation for preparing 2D drawings.
Knowledge and working experience in REVIT is strongly recommended.
Knowledge and working experience in Autodesk Plant3D, CADWORX and Bentley Open Plant is preferred.
Experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or other process industry.
Strong computer skill. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Strong verbal, written communications skills in English.
Requisite Qualification: Diploma or Certified Technician from ITI is preferred. Certification course on 3D modelling also would be an added advantage.
